Today I wanted to share a few random thoughts.

The image that you see here is something that I created at the IAMPETH convention. It was a happy accident. I was supposed to buy a sign pen, I bought this instead. I am determined to have it printed on fabric so that I can make another dress with Sonya Philip.

This is a fantastic post for beginning calligraphers by Stephanie Fishwick that I am going to tell all my students about. She is super nice, and talented AND you are about to see more of her work everywhere.

Another inspiring calligrapher is Sabine Pick – who told me that she is taking a week long class in Italy. Since then, I have been fantasizing about the workshop in Italy with calligrapher Monica Dengo.

A mention on my favorite blog, besotted, with a great idea to Pin it forward.

The School has decided to add my class to a location in  Melbourne  at a spectacular location TBD. I have been to Sydney but not Melbourne, and according to Moncle it made no. 2 on the global hot spots list. Also, my Great Uncle Tony lives there and I bet a lot of our relatives don’t really get the chance to visit him that  often.

Save the date November 9th, 2013 for my class in Portland. It’s another one of those dream collaborations!  Date, time and location TBD.
